Car shuts off by it's self...

Car:1990 Honda accord lx
When im idle at stops like at a red light or stopped to make a turn if i turn my wheel while stopped my engine starts to sputter and my rpm needlebegins to go down and up and sometimes it goes all the way down and shuts off the car what could this be?

check your battery's life to see if it is bad or still good, at the same time, check your alternator as well, I encountered that problem earlier, I had to replace a new battery.

its not the battery or alternator i just replaced those like last month
