I can't guarantee every part, but many parts interchange. The Chevrolet Nova was a Toyota Sprinter, a version of the Toyota Corolla sold only in Japan. The Chevrolet Nova (1985-1988), Geo Prizm (1989-1996), and Chevrolet Prizm (1997-2002), were all built on the same Fremont, California, assembly line as the Toyota Corolla. The two cars are nearly identical mechanically. Akagi Drifter 07-17-2003, 04:04 AM ever seen a crocopotimus? no? well thats what youre gonna get with toyota and chevy... Toymaniac 07-18-2003, 10:00 AM you 'll have to double check but i'm pretty sure the suspension is the same.... as for corollas built in the us i'm not sure about that...as far has i remember all corollas were built in japan until 88than the "lsx" and "lx" were built in canada and the "le" the sr5 and gts were still built in japan... and from 93 they were all built in cambrige ontario canada .... Hudson 07-18-2003, 10:39 PM Production of the Toyota Corolla FX16 began at the NUMMI plant in Fremont, California, in September 1986. Two years later, the same plant introduced the Corolla sedan. Both of these vehicles, and the related Nova/Prizm, were produced in the US before the Cambridge plant produced any significant number of Corollas for sale. Toyota's Cambridge, Ontario, plant opened in November 1988 and began producing Corollas in 1989 (about 20,900 were built that year). NUMMI and Cambridge still produce the Corolla. Some North American Corollas are still imported. frankjc 12-03-2003, 03:47 PM most engine and suspension parts are the same. body parts are different, most trim parts are different. as long as you are talking about a 4 door corolla. to determine the origin, check your VIN: 2T1= canada 1NX= california JT2= japan i believe all novas were made in california riverat440 08-25-2005, 07:07 PM You won't be the first to have a Toyolet on wheels Brian R. 09-26-2005, 10:58 AM You may get additional information in the Corolla forum - moved Brian R. 09-26-2005, 11:03 AM You won't be the first to have a Toyolet on wheels Please don't resurrect old threads - particularly with useless statements. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
