Six brilliant :) months driving my new Z4 with smg. But yesterday the gearbox light illuminated on the dash and will only allow me to use 1st to third gears :frown: Has this happened to anyone else ?? and can someone assure me that my dream car will be OK !!

My Z4 SMG is now at 9K miles and going strong. I love it! I had to take it back at 4K so they could adjust the learning module for smoother shifting. While in service they provided me with a loaner Z4 stick. I had definitelly adjusted to the SMG and missed it dearly. Your dream car will be fine, just take it to the dealer for possible adjustments...
