engine swap

i have a 91 toyota camry, but i am unstisfied with the engine. I have been serching around to see what engine i could put into the car. Does anyone know of any good engines i could instal that i could make a good fast car out of it.

Swap in a 5sfe if you want to run NA, or a 3sgte motor from a mr2 turbo.

You may want to consider the Celica's 3SGTE since it's piping and lines are already oriented for the front of a car :)

If you are going to swap in the 3S-GTE, you will have to also swap the tranny to a manual (if you currently have an automatic). An automatic tranny is not able to handle the power of a 3S-GTE. If you currently have the 3SFE in your car and you go with the 3S-GTE, you will need the engine with the ECU and wiring harness. You will also need to upgrade your front axles to the V6 axles because they are stronger than the I4 versions.
