just received a 90 integra ls for x- mas. It is an automatic with less than 80000 miles. Want to increase the hp. Just wanted to know if anyone can guide me.
want to achieve: 1) more horsepower 2)easy bolt ons. 3)don't have a deep pocket so keep it cheap 4)will drive everyday

congrats, youd be better off trying to find someone to trade with for a manual or look into a auto to manual tranny conversion

With simple bolt-ons the increase in HP are in the mid to higher rev-ranges. With your auto-tranny you really have to slam the pedal to even feel a slight difference.
Most people start off with Intake, Header and Exhaust.
If your not changing your tranny to manual I suggest that's all you should modify.

Hey welcome, What i did was intake, exhaust then header.
Oh yah this is my wifes car so it is an automatic too. Dont let anyone tell you to do a 5spd swap or any of that junk. with just bolt on's we have never had ANY problem taking 5spd integra's with same bolt-ons.
Of course i have my 5spd and i enjoy driving it more and it is slightly faster (or so it seems) but the auto keeps up with the best of them. But they dont hold up to the abuse.
