700 dollars... help me shop.blkciv98EXwithopes 12-27-2004, 10:46 PM Christmas money to spend on my '98 black coupe civic. I want to stretch it out.Should I go improving looks or engine. what engine mods besides intake should I consider? I dont think that headers and exhaust would help much in hp, but open to oppinions. Also, minus the rims, tires, tail lights, and headlights. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? exman98 12-28-2004, 12:18 AM headers and exhaust it the "gate way" to any major engine mod. it allows the car to breath. even if it doesnt give the hp numder you want it will still up your torque. from there it is up to you alone if you are lookinh for looks or speed. BLU CIVIC 12-28-2004, 12:22 AM i would keep saving...$700 is a good start NerveAgent 12-28-2004, 01:14 AM Turbo?! rsxballa 12-28-2004, 04:56 PM yeah man.. go turbo on that beast dysleksykfreak 12-28-2004, 08:12 PM save... then turbo.. or nos.. it's ur call my friend.. gudluck AudioGuy93DelSol 12-28-2004, 09:28 PM I fourth the turbo motion. :iceslolan blkciv98EXwithopes 12-28-2004, 11:45 PM ok... Edelbrock or Greddy Kit? that question deserves a search  PhoebeusFenix 12-31-2004, 11:32 AM Save for a swap man. I mean, you may as well get the catback though, b/c then when you swap, you wont have to buy one then. d16's are not meant for power, yo u can accomplish it but its going to cost you and you still will not get the results you would get out of a b16 or b18c1. 97CivicX 01-01-2005, 06:26 PM hold on! Edelbrock or Greddy Kit? SAVE. Edelbrock! :grinyes: Killa_CRX 01-02-2005, 12:00 PM hold on! Edelbrock or Greddy Kit? Neither one... deffinately not the Edlebrock. Do the research and piece your own together.... it'll be way cheaper than those kits, and perform just the same if you do it right. blkciv98EXwithopes 01-03-2005, 02:46 PM Just curious... what would produce more mid range tq/horsepower, a dc header or and apexi exhaust? blkciv98EXwithopes 01-03-2005, 03:20 PM AAHHH! hold me back! 97CivicX 01-07-2005, 04:39 PM no headers! turbo manifold only! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
