what is the color in the factory wiring harness for the illuminatio of the radio???

Welcome to the "Dark Club". There is a kit you can order from a electronics parts warehouse that will have 2 boards. I just put in the easier board and got it to work. The other board requires a printed circut solder job. This radio gets super hot. If your good I think you just have to resolder the contacts on the printed circut board...I have heard of stories of people taking a test drive and swapping out the radios. Be careful dealers don't make any money that way...
