99 Blzr LS - Dash 'idiot' lightsTonyMazz 12-23-2004, 11:03 AM So I am driving home last night in an ambient temperature of -10 below zero.... Car ran perfectly....except while cruising at 70 mph on the free-way all of a sudden, my check gauges, check engine and all other idiot lights light up, gauge needs begin to drop, then in an instant all resumed correct position on gauges, idiot lights go out and all appeared normal. Keeping in mind that the speed never varied, engine stayed perfectly at the same RPM, dash lights themselves stayed on, all vehicle activites stayed steady, except just for an instant...these lights all lit. It was almost as if something in the ignition, a wire or something reverted back to when you first turn the car on and all sytems, lights to a self check...it was like it went through that same function.... Very weird...but wanted some additional opinions on what else it could be... Finally, it is now running perfectly, no indication of anything wrong, etc.....I don't think it actually threw a code, but suppose I could check at my local autozone.... Any ideas ??? BlazerLT 12-23-2004, 09:26 PM I would check just to be sure. You sure none of the gauges read something weird? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
