I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 base model. It does not have the Driver Infomation Center (DIC) controls on the steering wheel. I want to set my headlights so they go out when I turn off the ignition. According to the owners manual they are set to go off in 10 seconds (default). Those of you that have the DIC can adjust the headlight to turn off or stay on longer. The dealer says it can't be changed (without DIC)...anyone know a solution.

For what it's worth.....I contacted GM and they gave me the same response as the dealer. No can do without DIC controls

2003 manal tells you how to change it on the LS Silv.
I'll look it up on Friday for you.
