I have a 94 civic with a JDM B16A1 and I want to turbo it. I waz curious if the JDM engine can handle the turbo without any internal mods to the engine or any thing else on the car?

there is no reason you couldnt handle boost. just spend the time and money to tune it right. tuning is the key. my friend runs 9lbs on his rsx type-s with an 18g turbo and he is fine. the motor is a 11:1 comp. motor so your b16 should be fine. and learn the limits of the motor. in other words dont try to run say a t67 on a stock b16 at 14lbs. run something smaller at say 8lbs and you will be good.
