well, i want either one of these cars, the 240sx i will put a japanese motor from an older silvia sr20det, it makes 205hp nad 203torque, the porsche I could not find too much info on I know there are turbo once and there are fwd once (boooo). Both cars have perfect weight distribution (nissan with jap motor that is) and are rwd. I think I will go with 240 because of all aftermarket support and it being newer, like the porsche though, my favourite supercar and just is a nice classaic car. I am not rich, so no costly repairs (that porsche will bring) and prolly will go with the nissan.
If you had a choice and money is sort of a problem what whuold you get?

I'm sure someone else will come along and elaborate on the porsche further, but quickly, the porsche is also Rear wheel drive, and they have 217 or 247 hp depending on if it is the 944 "S" or not.

one more thing, the hp i listed was for the 944 turbo models, to compare apples to apples since you said you would swap a SR into the 240

The 944 was never FWD.

Mainteneance and upkeep on the 240SX is A LOT less expensive, both in parts and labor.
