I'm going to be converting my truck into a fake dual :) Im going to get a stainless steel muffler and stainless steel tips. What kind of Muffler should i get? Magnaflow, Dynomax, or Flowmaster?? I was looking through some sound clips and it seems that I like the Magnaflow with my 5.3L the best but i want your opinions.

a 40s series flowmaster sounds nice with the 5.3. nice deep and hollow tone.

Get anything that's stainless. It lasts forever. Personally, I hate the way flows sound.

I would just hold off till you can afford a stainless system. It will last forever. I have a stainless system, but the hangers are aluminum... they onlu lasted about a month b4 they got covered in rust. The way I figured, if im gonna drop that kinda money for an exhaust, why not drop an additional 100 bucks for one that will last forever. Just my :2cents:

I agree with NIGEL215. Wait until you have enough for the stainless pipes! You won't regret it and you won't have to be replacing just part of the system after a while.
