Vector M12 Smog testDoug Anselmo 12-22-2004, 12:36 PM I am trying to smog test my car, and no one is able to do it. I am told that the OBD system is not connecting to the tester. How can I get this car smog tested. I went to DMV and they say it is capable of being tested by the OBD, and their tester wont work. 993cc 12-23-2004, 10:38 AM Isn't the M12 using a Lamborghini V12? Shouldn't it be able to be connected like any ol' Diablo? No I'm not a mechanic just a thought! Anyway since you're a Vector owner I'd like to hear any impressions you might like to share with us! Like how did you come about getting one etc... :grinyes: Dar Mandra 05-18-2005, 09:28 PM Someone other then me that own’s a Vector M-12, cool. I have # 5 If you would care to chat My E-mail is darmandra@charter.net Vnlln 03-09-2006, 10:08 AM The OBDII was never enabled in the Lambo ecu's. Dar Mandra 03-10-2006, 08:23 PM the computers are 95's (or 94's i forgot) in the vector. 96 was when the OBDII became a standard. sombody totaly paid off someone to let this get past DOT your chose may be to declare the car as a kit car, thats what im thinking about doing in may when my tags come up for renew. Brangeta 01-03-2007, 06:07 AM The M12 was OBD1/OBD I. It's smog can only be tested the old fashioned way, not by hooking it up to an autoscanner. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
