In process of replacing CPI/nut kit, but also troubleshooting possible coil issue. My Haynes manual doesn't accurately depict my coil.

My coil has 4 contact leads vs. the 2 depicted in manual. Does anyone know what the resistance should be between the various leads?

I seem to have low resistance between any combination of the leads, but am not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

If your using an ohmmeter to measure the terminals on the coil, they will all be low, that's good but it doesn't tell you if any of the turns are shorted. The only way to properly check the coil is with a ringer, and most shops don't have one.

I was using an ohmmeter. My big concern was that there was little to no resistance between the two 2 socket terminals or any combination thereof. I was looking for confirmation if the 2 sockets should be electrically isolated from one another.
