hey i just bought a 2002 wrx and it has spt(subaru performance tuning) cai, lowering springs and a camber kit. im fixing to order hks high power exhaust system because it has the best lower end torque readings i've seen so far . i'm thinking about getting new headers for it or turbo manifold as you call it when i am gonna get the downpipe and up-pipe, does the headers make a pretty good difference? and what is a good upgrade? thank you

More flow is more flow, so yes headers would make a difference. Get good ones, though, with a proven track record.

Good headers will make good power. With a full exhaust setup you can put down some power with a tune if you have like a UTEC or something close to it.

nice i planned on getting a utec up the road i wanted to make sure i had the payments for the car secure for like 2 months before i got one cause their not the cheapest thing but they work miracles. what do you think is the best exhaust for the wrx. i'm looking at the hks hi-power right now

Honestly they are all fairly the same. Really it comes down to the tone you want it to be. HKS doesnt have the best power gains but its got a very throaty deep tone to it. Personally i would go with HSK up/down pipes and carbon-ti catback cause it is sexy. With larger power gains replace the up/down pipe with possibly a HELIX up/down pipes.
