2000 Blazer front wheel brg hubs

I have a 2000 S-10 Blazer LT2wd w 56,000 miles on it that is in need of wheels bearings on the front left side. I have ran into several problems with the parts houses not showing any bearings or hub assemblies for it. It would seem that someone out there would know how to get around the $478.00 assembly at the local chevrolet dealer. Chevrolet makes "great" trucks but they have really burned us this time! Anyone have a cheaper solution?

You should be able to just replace the bearing on a 2wd.

You don't need to replace the whole hub.
