Hi all,
I have a 1997 Bonneville se with an inop heater. It blows mildly warm. It has manual controls. If i put the selector to heat(RED) and put the fan control all the way it blows fairly good but it is not very warm. If i then turn the selector to (blue) or cold the volume of air coming from the floor vents increase considerably and is quite cold. So it seems there is some heat but also a reduced amount of airflow.(Is that normal for the airflow to reduce)? Fluid levels are normal temp runs around 180. Worked fine last winter. any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd strart looking for vacuum lines that are leaking. Another thing could be one of the vent actuators not opening or closing all the way. Good luck.

I just bought my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville and I can't figure out how to work the heater. The air conditioner doesn't come on right away. It takes a few minutes to start blowing out. I've tried everything and the heat won't blow out at all.
