CD Changer with 96 honda civic LX

I recently bought a preowned 1996 Honda Civic LX. The CD changer is an Alpine CHM-S601. The problem is that when i make a left turn it starts to skip and when i straighten out it goes back to normal... any ideas on what i could do?
