Starting woes

I have a '93.5 p10 and I don't know what the hell the problem is. It will not start! I put in a new battery today 'cause the old one's terminals kept coroding, everything turn on but the car won't turn over. On one attempt to start it, I hear a very faint clicking sound; it sounded as if it was about to start. Now I hear no clicking sound what so ever. If it's a starter problem, where is it and how do I put in a new one?

Probably the starter (there's another current thread almost identical to yours). But first check all the connections (especially the ground). Do the other components of the electrical system (lights, etc) work? Maybe you could try to push-start it, unless it's an auto.

Ya it's funny that there are currently 2-3 threads with the same problem I have and they all have 93 p10's. I don't know why this shit is happening and yes all my lights, power windows, alarm, radio, and sunroof work. I was thinking the starter or maybe the alternator? I am not really sure but I know one thing; It is pissing me off:angryfire

It's almost surely not an alternator. Probably the starter. Try pushstarting it (with a couple of friends, of course)
