I removed my Pin stipe this summer it wasnt all to hard. I had tried doing it before with a heatgun, and some goo gone. I alos tried Gas, and wd40 but thoughs didnt really work very well, It would have taken me weeks to get my car done using thoughs. But I finaly got completely fedup with what was now half a pinstripe around my car so I went to walmart and picked up some 3M bug and tar remover. It is in the automotive section and it is in a Blue can with a picture of a black Benz on it. All you do is spray it (its like spray paint) all accross the pin stripping and then (I used a plastic non seraded knife from a a fast food joint) scape the pin stripe off. You can use your fingernail but your finger will prolly get sore. Then just spray some more of the MAGIC SPRAY over the area were the adhesive was left behind and it wipes right off. If you do it this way it should not leave any marks on your car unless the pinstripe has been there forever then you will see what I calla a Ghost stripe (this happend to my car) The paint on your car has been faded and the stripe around your car that was cover is not, so now if you look close you can see a line all the way around your car. Its kinda like a custom pinstripe if you think about it. Its a perfect line all the way around you car that is painted on under yourclear coat. Its actually kinda neet cus you only see it at certain angles.

Peace

Yea but my car is a 92 and the 1st owner (the person who owned it before me) live in florida. It was brought here about 4 years ago right before I bought it. So it was under allot of sun if you know what I mean. If your car isnt to old, and you dont live in a sunny/hot area like florida you prolly wont have anymarks. I suppose the color of yourcar would make a dif. too since white and lighter colors dont absorbe as much heat.
