Each turn signal doesn't work, but tail lights, headlights, brake lights, and emergency flashers do work. The reverse lights also don't work (but I'm not as concerned about the reverse lights as I am about the turn signals). Given the symptom(s), do you have any ideas/suggestions/or solutions on how I could troubleshoot this? The vehicle's hatchback area had recently been damaged by another vehicle. Until just recently, the turn signals were still working with no problem, even after the damage to the back of the vehicle by the other vehicle. Do the turn signals have wires along the back side of the vehicle near the hatchback, and if so, is it possible that the wires may have been disconnected? Or, could this be a fuse problem? This is confusing 'cause the emergency flashers remain working, yet both turn signals don't work. Please advise, if possible.

You might just have a wonky flasher module. It should be somewhere by your fuse box, but might be a pain to get at.

They're only worth a few bucks, so swap it out and see.

My book says the hazard lights and the turn signal lights operate on the same flasher. Check for a bad fuse. Recent damage to your car could have caused a short in the wiring.
