Mg Zt 190crayzayjay 03-04-2002, 04:26 PM The MG ZT is - you guessed it - based on the Rover 75. While the 75 isnt such a bad car, the ZT 190 represents a remarkable improvement in terms of dynamics and performance. The 6 cyl 2.5l engine develops 187bhp which sends the car to sixty in 7.8s and onto 141mph. Handling, and ride are impressive, but its perhaps too refined (compared to the ZR or ZS, but rawer than the 75 and its competitors) to provide a true sporting drive. It looks good too: http://www.mg-sportcars.co.uk/rovermgx10rear.jpg http://www.schwab-kolb.com/jpg/rover/rov00005.jpg Estate version's cool too: http://www.mgcars.org.uk/racing/xpower/presspics/pic00015.jpg cheers, jay ChristopherJ 12-05-2002, 02:56 AM For 2003 a 1.8 Turbo 4 will replace the 2.5 V6 take a look. http://www.motorcities.com/contents/02J1J274534876.html crayzayjay 12-05-2002, 04:27 PM it doesnt sound so bad but i would still prefer a V6 in a car that size Jimster 01-26-2003, 07:09 AM MG ZT- a very fine car indeed- Not quite Alfa 156 standards (But it runs circles around it in quality/reliability) but one helluva good drive- not to mention an agressive ooking bugger fastsaloons 12-30-2003, 08:25 PM We reviewed the ZT190 earlier this year (along with the ZT160 and ZT120) check it out here http://www.fastsaloons.com/thumbs/mg/zt/190/55.jpg MG ZT reviews (http://www.fastsaloons.com/ourroadtests.html) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
