After i stop the truck jerks forward???gonzo694 12-18-2004, 09:03 PM My question is when i come to a complete stop the truck jerks forward or feels like its moving forward just a hair ...can this be the u-joints in the drive shaft???..i have a 95 silverado with 60,000+ milesAnyone have a clue cause i dont thanks for the help.... rpg 12-18-2004, 11:00 PM I'm guessing that the A/C compressor is kicking in intermittently and temporarily raising the idle speed which would cause the problem you're describing. Note that if you have the defrost on (even partially), the compressor will run. To check if this is the culprit. While in idle and in park, select defrost and see if the A/C compressor starts cycling. My '96 does the same thing and I'm usually prepared for it. rpg kenny-1907 12-19-2004, 09:47 PM It could be that the IAC or the TB needs cleaning and your idle drops too low once it stops then the computer adjusts it........just a thought . I could be wrong. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
