Hi there,

What does it mean when the axels go "klank...klank...klank" around turns? Is this bad CV joints? How long can I drive around like this? Will the wheels fall off, or can I just drive it until the cows come home. It is otherwise very road worthy and safe, and I drive slow, etc. So I need to know if it is just possible to keep driving or will they totally fail in a few thousand miles. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

This noise probably is the CV joints. They generally don't fail right away, but when they do you'll be walking.
