Hi,
I'm new to this forum so my apologies in advance if I ask something that has already been answered. I did search though but couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I have a Camry 98 LE with a factory fitted Stereo/Radio/CD Player. Just a couple days ago the CD player seems to be out of power. The radio and cassette player is working fine, but no response from the CD player. It has a CD inserted as well but wouldn't eject or do anything, no error or sounds/noises either..... Is there a power fuse I can check? I tried the user manual but there is nothing relevant there.

I would sincerely appreciate your suggestions/advice.

Thanks
Uzee

You may want to check your fuses inside the passenger compartment. (The ones located behind the coin box.) There is a fuse for the head unit there. If there is no problem with the fuse, it's most likely a damaged player.

It is probably a damaged player. My CD player is really messed up. It skips a lot, just stops on braking, and going over bumps it will skip worse. I have tried numerous CD player cleaners, the stealer supposidly replaced it under warrenty. But it really messed up my CDs. I had a brand new CD get scratched really badly in the player. I am investigating a new set up because I can keep spending money replacing CDs. With all the replacing I have done I could have probably bought a really nice new components and sub box and battery(optiuma).
