I'm starting to do major mods to my car now (finally :p ) and am either getting the TEIN NAs or the JICs (if the group buy goes through) but I also need rims. I like how gunmetal looks against silver so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good set of 17" gunmetal rims that aren't too expensive or too heavy but are strong (not much more than $1,000). I've been looking around but haven't been able to find many gunmetal rims. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Thanks! :D

you could get whatever rim you want, and then you can always get it powdercoated gunmetal.

Yeah those are hella phat, a freind of mine gots 18's on his g20, his car is the same silver as mine and his rims look pretty sic

Where I can from, our mod shop has some major
phat rims in stock, and at the warehouse. We're able
to slap on 2 17''inches to see how the car looks, and
try 18's, etc.. before purchasing.

Of course, there are limits, can't try every size, and every rim
:) decide and get serious kinda thing.


When I visited Europe, I've seen some very fast,
highly tuned machines. The one that caught my eye
was a nice silver Silvia car with 18''inch white rims.

I have never seen a silver car with white rims except
in Europe. The 2 fastest cars at the track have this
color scheme. I love it. Very clean.

I guess it's all a matter of taste. It's like unwritten law
to not have white rims on a silver car around here, I've
never seen this scheme in Canada. I wonder why :licker:

Hey if you get the gunmetal on the silver G you gotta post a pic or if anyone has.. Id like to see because I want rims but I have NO idea what style to get..

Hopefully the group buy for JICs will go through by the end of this month :) and I'll get my rims by the end of this month also. As soon as I get everything setup I'll put up pics.

I was actually thinking about white rims on a silver car. But I think white rims look best on red or electron blue cars. Just my opinion.
