when i dropped my ka24de in at 3000 RPM and the problem was the aac(auxilary air control you might want to check that first and then check the aiv because if water gets in the manifold it sits in the aiv and rusts the spring out. if that is bad i wish you luck on getting the part i was only able to find it at a junk yard and from Nissan.

no this is clean air intake only its located under the intake manifold(its a b**ch to get too.
EGR is located at the back of the motor

EGR=Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Its the metal pipe running from the back of your exhaust manifold to the back of your intake.
IAAV=Idle Air Adjustment Valve. Bigger hose connected to your plastic intake. Right in front of the throttle body.
AIV=IDK. It is supposed to take unburnt fuel out of the exhaust manifold and recirulate it back into the engine. Located on the drivers side of the engine bay between the exhaust manifold and the air filter box. Its the little black box with the metal assembly below it. That little assembly is the actual valve.

k, my car has toooo much carbon oxide, any1 know anything about that? i took my car to e-check and i failed, due to too much carbon oxide!!!, but they said that i am doing good on the part that most people fail.
remember how i had the idle problems, will, it seems if i have my CD Player off, the car doesnt idle too low or high, it just works!!!!

carbon monoxide or dioxide? there's no such thing as carbon oxide.. and that may mean you're running lean.. i'm no expert at emissions but that would make sense to me
