The stock plugs and wires are good for Honda engines running 400hp, and upgraded injectors are only needed with a turbo/super charger. Some simple, cheap ideas for speed would be to gut out all the junk from behind the front seats back to relieve some weight, then save for a header and exhaust. What engine do you have? I'm assuming a sohc non-vtec, if so, buy a vtec head and EX ecu from a junkyard and run the solenoid wire to the computer. This will give you a 20hp bump for about $200.

Umm, for wires, the larger in diameter the better. Id recommend NGK plugs, right now i have some bosch platinum +2 and im happy with em also. Make sure you gap the plugs even they are "Pregapped" its never right. Go with a better flowing exhaust and if you want more a fuel pressure regulator but stick with stock injectors

Horizon16 is right, Honda plug wires r damn near, if not, the best wires for a Honda. yes it's hard to believe a factory part is better than aftermarket "upgrades" but it really is in this case. there have been comparisons done. I'd rather just pay the dealer cost instead of $150 for the same quality.

lol, i like the sig AudioGuy

just for ur info 'upgrading' the plugs and wires will give u a maximum of 1-3hp gain. and that being generous. it will improve ur gas mileage tho. if u really want to upgrade that part of ur engine i woul get a new ignition kit.

thanks for all the help. i have a b16a dohc vtec. its a 2000 civ si. yea im thinking about getting a whole new ignition kit. reprogram the ecu or something. headers on back are another investment. my family actually owns a muffler shop so i could get something good and cheap. the whole reason i asked about the fuel systems were cuz i have an airintake on it and ive heard many things about the air fuel ratio and when i put my foot to the floor... it just sounds like its sucking alot more air then it should. thanks

if ur that worried about ur air/fuel ratio get an adjustable air/fuel gauge. it will help u run richer but no too rich.

I have a b&m FPR and its designed to give the same pressure at normal operation but after about 50% throttle it will let more pressure flow to compensate the the more air flowing with i/h/e. im happy with it

NGK is the manufacturer of OEM Honda plug wires. If you want new plug wires, NGK wires are all you'll need and will be more than fine. You shouldn't have to pay more than $50 a set.
