Where can this be done at besides the dealer? I've went to Jiffy Lube and they say they only do drain and fill. They claim that its not possible on my car, which I think is BS. I live in the Bay Area of California and drive a 94 5sfe.

Thanks in advance

5sfe? assuming you mean 5 speed?? Why would you want to power flush a manual tranny? Drain and fill is fine. If your not happy with that then drain and fill again with the next regular oil change to be sure it is clean.

Go to the dealer and do the drain and fill. If you have not done it for a while > 3 years, repeat the procedure in 3 months and then every 60 K kms. That's good enough.

Jiffy Lube can do a flush if they have the equipment. The shop you talked to probably doesn't or it doesn't work, or the only guy who knows how to use it just quit. I know your tranny can be flushed.

Thanks for all then replys. I will go to Jiffy Lube tomorrow to see if I can do the tranny flush. Oh yeah 5sfe is the engine code for 2.2 Litre DOHC, not 5 speed! I have a Automatic.
