96 accord ex vtec overheat/massive blowby

Just bought 96 accord vtec that was overheating and had lots of air blowing through oil filler cap when removed. Thought head gasket was blown so I changed out engine with an 85k mile engine from wrecked salvage yard car. IT DOES THE SAME EXACT THING!!! This engine looked new inside when I dropped pan and valve cover prior to install. Any idea what is causing this? Especially stumped on the blowby thing. Car has new thermostat and radiator and everything on engine is different. Changed engine as whole unit, intake, to pan including attached sensors. Ready to send nice car to the crusher if I can't solve this due to frustration. Anyone have the magic solution/answer?
