Try disconnecting the power for a few minnutes and the re-booting it. If that wont work you may need to reinstall the operating system software fo the Nav computer. If you don't have that CD, check www.bmwportal.net. Once you join, you can visit the download secton where there is a CD image for the Nav os.

Check out this page to see what os version will be available for the MKI. I believe that any version above V15 includes that last os upgrade for the MKI computer.
