what would be the most boost i could run on a b16 with stock internals, except for a thicker head gasket; to bring the cr to about 9.5:1, 93 octane and some tuning. i was thinking no more 6-7psi.

it could probably handle about 10 psi. A b16 in complete stock form I wouldn't trust to handle more than 8 psi daily. With a good tune 12 psi runs at the track without blowing anything up is feasible.

dont tell us how much psi you want, tell us how much hp you want

b16a2 stock internals, custom turbo@12psi, dyno tuned hondata s2b, rc 550s, 91 octane everyday (actually, i only drove the car like once a week). there are many more factors to how much boost you can run than just cr.

the jdm spec b16 is a little different.

well with the lower cr, i wouldnt run more then 320whp. so turn up the boost till you hit 320 then stop

just remember, the higher the cr, the less boost is needed to achieve your goal. its all in the tuning. just dont forget to get something to tune it with.
