how to cover up door molding holes

wats goin on peeps, newb 2 this forum, i just replaced my passenger side door caused from a previous accident, i need to cover up the holes for the moldings on the door, originally the factory 93 civic dx model did not come with moldings. would anyone know how to cover the holes on the door and know what to use. please tips and suggestions would gladly help.

weld in the holes and grind it smooth, thats the best way, but Ive seen people use bondo, but be careful with bondo because it tends to crack.

i made the bondo mistake when i was a newb but im gonna ride it out for now with the bondo

hey i just started this site thing and what is the best way to smoth my doors down i tolk the bumper gareds off and some one said bondo but i dont know about that
