New to wheels and rimsXIntegraX 12-08-2004, 09:50 PM what are the first things i need to know when choosing new rims? i know you need to know what kind of design your car will accept, and how much weight the rims will support, but i dont know anything other than that. where can i find the dimensions that fit my car and what weight it supports? if i get new larger rims, will i need to get better braking? how will i find the tires that will fit? am i going to have to special order every one? sorry for all the questions, but im just curious about these things. BullShifter 12-09-2004, 02:48 AM The first place you need to go is www.tirerack.com and educate yourself about tires. I'm sure you can more info than you want know there & www.google.com Depending how heavy and how big would determine if the brakes and suspension need upgrade. For performance you want as light as possible. I wouldn't recommend any thing larger than 17" vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
