Temp/Compass

I have an 01 dodge ram1500 SLT, 4wd. Does anyone know if the rearview mirror that has the compass and temperature in it will it work with my truck? My truck came stock with the normal rearview mirror. I want to change it out to the compass and temperature rearview mirror.

There may be some sensors you'll miss if you just put in the new mirror; I think this came with the overhead console, right? I'd check at the dealer to see what they have to say - the parts guy might be the most helpful.
