I have a 96 Toyota Camry v4 , i would like to know where is the EGR Valve located , i think my valve is clogged .

It should be right behind the valve cover against the fire wall. It will have a metal tube that comes from the intake and a few vacume lines. It can be cleaned with carb cleaner. How many miles do you have?

Thanks for sharing the pic , i have a camry 152000 miles on it , after cruising in the freeway , and i took an exit , when i reach the traffic light , my engine became unsteady and died off , after a few minutes , everything is back to normal , this happened a couple of times already.

Sounds like dirty EGR, clean it and , probably you problem will be gone.

Here is a good link explaining the ERG system. In trouble shooting, you may have to replace the modulator, or the VSV. http://www.autoshop101.com/ go to tech article #61. Good luck

Is the egr valve in the same place on a 2000 model? I have to replace it on mine. Is it hard to do?
