so im @ the carwash yesterday.."high pressure rinse, high pressure soap, high pressure rinse, high pressure wax..." say the buttons...im like "high pressure...right.." so i drop in my change, start sprayin it off..
car was REALLLY dirty due to some snow we got the other day.. so im going around, i go to the front, and out of the corner of my eye, i notice a little white thing slide down.. im like "hm." keep going around, then i notice that my pinstriping is missing on the other side........and blasting off as im spraying it.. im like "hm..this could work.." so at this point, the car was kleen, but im outta quarters, and i have half-assed pinstriping...so i put in more change, and went around the car w/ the sprayer right up close..and it stripped that shit off like nothin! i was pretty suprized at this...but im happy about it strangely enough, 'cuz i didnt like the pinstriping anyway..it didnt come completely off tho, you can still see where it was, it looks like darker pinstripes or something...eh, paint job comes soon enough :)

Hehe... That's funny! :D
To get rid of the remains, rubbing compound/pre-wax cleaner will do the job.

if it's hot water with the high pressure it will come off even easier:)

Yes, that's another tip... Make sure that area is warm. (read: hot is not really necessary) I took off my "CARR'S HONDA" sticker on a warm summer day... :)

i was gonna try using this stuff called "goo gone" its a natural (citrus based) cleaner that really takes crap off easily..the one thing im worried about is the paint being faded under there...i guess it doesnt so much matter, cause i intend on getting it painted soon anyway, but just the same..
where can i get the pre-wax cleaner stuff you speak of?

thanks :)

OH, another thing....i did this when it was cold outside...like, it was prolly ~30F..i dunno if that made a difference (perhaps froze the pinstriping?)
