Normally ride in mazdas, but this time its a Chevy

Well I saw yesterday a guy had an 84 s-10 with a 2.8 in it so today while out in town i found one for $500 bucks, runs :evillol: So does anyone have any idea how you can squeeeez some ponies from this motor?

exhaust and air intake are your cheepest and easyest, reprogram the computer....

This is in response to the first reply, uh its an 84 it don't have a computer its a carb. But thanks for the advice. I was really wanting to know if there are any good aftermarket parts for me to look into or who makes good carbs and intakes mabey some performance heads and thanks for the links i'll look at those. :boink:

I understand that, my 85 is still carburated.

most internal parts will still fit your motor, and they list 4 barrel intake manifolds, 4 barrel carbs, exhaust and several other things for your motor on those 2 links that I gave you

I'd just change to a 4 barrel, and run a complete exhaust system. Do a tune up

Let me know what you do on your truck, and how you like it.

I haven't had the chance to even drive my blazer with the same motor, and I wish that I would have had the money to drop better performing parts when I re-built the engine. I might still do the bolt on stuff
