I need help! I just purchased a 1998 BMW SI and the climate control goes on and off. It will turn on automatically and shut off by itself. When I push any of the buttons, it does not do anything! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be? Thanks!!

Try this post, I have the same problem with mine. I just bought a 97 328i and I noticed it a few days later. If it helps you out, let me know how you make out. Also on the of the posts, there is supposedly someone on e bay that will fix it for $50. I don't know who he is or if he is any good.

I sent my climate control unit to the guy selling the service on ebay. His ebay name is ccobsinc. This guy repaired it and it works mint now.
