I have a 02 Neon SE that I purchased in Oct. 03. Jan. 04 it went into the shop for a trans. leak. It is now Dec. and it is leaking again. Not much just a drip or two a day. Very very slow leak. Last time it was the gasket. I have read something about to hoses at the front of the tranny, I will look tomorrow to see if this is it. Has anyone else had this problem? Also it is an auto. Does anybody know how much a 5-speed swap would cost? I hate auto. Thanx

Thanks for the info. Never done that kind of work on the newer cars. Done Tie rods, cv joints and other small things. I have a friend that did it on a 2000 civic and I put a new tranny in my 79 monte carlo. Has anyone done it?
