Not sure about the website, but the guys at www.dodge-charger.com should know. I seriously suggest you visit the site, and ask about it. xXxRocker5150 12-12-2004, 01:55 PM Yea, it's a 70, but what i don't like about it is how they took off the entire front grill, meh w.e.... 72_GTX 02-10-2005, 10:26 PM Yea, it's a 70, but what i don't like about it is how they took off the entire front grill, meh w.e.... If it's not for safety or speed then it's excess weight ...! MrPbody 02-11-2005, 09:19 AM Interesting car, the '69 Charger 500. Glad to see someone here knows what's up! Haven't seen one for about 10 years. That one was running around Richmond with a 318 in it (YUCK!). I think they just put whatever engine they could find in it. The originals I remember seeing, had 383s or 440s in them. Good top-end racer! 71Cnet 02-13-2005, 01:18 AM the 69 charger 500 came with a 440. the only other option was a 426 hemi. those were the only two engine options for that model which is also the same for the daytona. 72_GTX 02-13-2005, 07:41 AM the 69 charger 500 came with a 440. the only other option was a 426 hemi. those were the only two engine options for that model which is also the same for the daytona. Same as the GTX's - 440 4v standard followed by the six-pack and Hemi options ... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
