i have a 96 accord automatic and i was wondering if there were any known superchargers or turbochargers or anything like that available...if not for the F22 then maybe for after an H22 swap is done?

Oh mercy! If you do a search on Turbo or Supercharger at this forum, you'll find a gazillion threads - some of them just a few days old!

but even for the automatic? any ideas where i could get a supercharger from or how much one would cost?

To be honest with you there are no superchargers for the f22. Actually the only one was from japan called the m-45 made by c's racing and it sat on the exhast side and not the intake. The best bet is a turbo. Here is the only reason why. The compression ration on a f22 is 8.5:1, perfect for a turbo, and the block can hold up to 300 horses.

i had a 96 automatic accord. i found a few turbos at places such as revhard.com. you'll find some, but what i realized was i was sitting in a 96 accord that was starting to rust with 120k miles on it. i went out and found my prelude for only 10k. i got a good trade in on my accord. easy horse power gain for 3 grand. and i didn't even get greasy

might have gained some horsepower but you definitely lost out in looks...Preludes have the ugliest dashboard configuration ever known to man

swap H22 onto that, and single turbo it. I personally have a 1996 Honda Accord LX; and also automatic tranny.

well actually the 5th gen prelude's dash is almost identical to my accord. but i do miss my accord, i comptemplated a h22 swap but couldn't afford it. the 4th gen prelude though does have an ugly ass dash configuration. i agree with you there. the gauges seem tostretche across the car into the passenger's side. and all digital if i recall correctly. but i miss my accord daily, especially in this snow.

yeah, thats the prelude i was referring to...seems like the passenger would have to read the gauges for you to know your whole situation since the gauges are closer to them then they are you!!! Yeah, and the whole thing is just digital with an ugly color used for the letters and numbers
