Ok, here is a short description of the problem. With a cold engine, the car starts perfectly, and drives good. No problems. But when the engine heats up, the cars performas goes down. You hit the gas and the engine stals. It just does not accelerate. It just stops going faster. It does not stop runing. I my self think there is a problem with the carb, but I'm no expert so does anybody have any ideas?

What year excel do you have I think you should have fuel injection.
You may have a sensor problem. You may want to have Autozone to scan the codes down.If you have one in your area.

It is 1992 Hyundai Pony. Vith a carb engine. I know what is carb and what is injected. I also have a 1973 Volvo 142 with a fuel injection engine. But hell, yesterday I discovered something realy strange under the hood. The vacum hose, that is suposed to regulate the timeing on the engine was not connected tu the place it was suposed to be. Previous owner has made some realy f*ck up sh*t under the hod. So lucky me.
