Vtec?PoisonFangs 02-28-2002, 05:40 PM Hey there I heard of a way to adjust the vtec on your car(when it kicks in) is this true and if so how?:frog: Brice 02-28-2002, 07:05 PM Yes there are ways to adjust your VTEC but why the hell would you want to do it anyway?! VTEC has a purpose and is only truly effective at a certain points in time and with the right settings. The easiest and cheapest way is buying a VTEC controller (Field, Mugen, Spoon). Field is the cheapest. Or buy a standalone but of course that's more expensive and it would stupid to buy a standalone for the sole purpose of changing your VTEC crossover point. Again, do whatever you want. I wouldn't fuck with it though. starkfu 02-28-2002, 10:18 PM Originally posted by Brice Yes there are ways to adjust your VTEC but why the hell would you want to do it anyway?! I am so glad that some one actually realizes this i will admit there are times when this needs to be done, but if you have I,H,E, then a it is not necessary to get one, you can, but the gains are minimal, if any, for the money that a controller costs, you could put toward a cam which will make a difference. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
