Got a '98 Malibu, rack is going on it. Feels loike it has hi and low spots when you turn. Has anyone changed it themselves at home? What kind of problems did you encounter? How long to do it approx.? Napa asked me if is a rubber mount or non....anyone know what that means? No other stores asked me that. Thanks in advance!

It's covered as part of GM recall. Take it to a dealer

Not my car. I've talked to GM Canada and the recall is VIN specific and as far as they know it did not apply in Canada. Anyone changed one of these?
