fuel pump question

Hello I have a 1994 4.3 jimmy and the fuel pump isnt running.The manual says that it has a fuse in the engine compartment but I cant find anything there.What are the test I can do to check to see if its the fuel pump without pulling the tank..YOur information is appreciated..thanks

Locate the fuel pump relay. In the immediate vicinity should be a wire that is not connected to anything. It is the fuel pump test. If you apply battery voltage to it, the pump should run. If it doesn't, you found your problem. If it does, then the fuse and then relay should be your next checks.
