Vertical door kits (also called Lambo door kits)Mark Rudy 11-30-2004, 09:15 AM I seen these on eBay recently and went *wowzers... cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllll lllllllllllllllll*... anyone have any experience with them - specifically - problems with the kits, installation, leaks and fittage? I am currently looking into these and hoping to find a manufacturer who makes one for my 1988 accord LXi Lambo door kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33642&item=7936593971&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW 92gsr200k 11-30-2004, 11:37 PM No experience, but looks like of funky and if those doors are full up already, doesn't look like much room to get in or out. Just weird to me. Mark Rudy 12-01-2004, 05:04 AM No experience, but looks like of funky and if those doors are full up already, doesn't look like much room to get in or out. Just weird to me. I worried as well about entry and exit clearances. I searched over the web for all lambo door kits looking for any that showed more than that frontal side view so I could better see how much clearance there actually was. I should have bookmarked the site but I found one site that had an actual quicktime movie of the mod. it is a bit tight but not unworkable... Funky? yes, def different.. a way to add a uniqueness to your ride. I still havent made a decesion of whether to get it or not, and thankfully, that decesion has been put off as I am now searching for a cheap a20a3 motor for my 88 accord LXi as my rod bearings are going, and functionality always takes precedence over prettiness :) friday86 12-01-2004, 12:04 PM does anyone know if they have Lambo' doors for 4-door sedans? for all 4 doors that is...? Igovert500 12-01-2004, 05:26 PM does anyone know if they have Lambo' doors for 4-door sedans? for all 4 doors that is...? I have never seen them on any 4 door car...EVER. However I'm sure someone somewhere has custom fabricated them on something...but IMO, I think it would look extremely ridiculous. flacopower 12-01-2004, 09:46 PM haha i agree. four lambo doors?? that would be the most retarded looking thing ever. Greenblurr93 12-01-2004, 09:51 PM I once saw a corolla with the front 2 doors lambo and the rear 2 suicide. Deff. was different..... Mojeans69 12-02-2004, 05:04 PM The thing with the lambo doors is that they don't just open straight up, the ones that I encountered open regular a couple of inches and then they go up. There is enough space to easily get in and out of them, on the RSX that I used them on, and I am not a small guy. 92gsr200k 12-04-2004, 06:47 AM Mojeans69, do you have pictures of your car with the doors? It would be interesting seeing the RSX with those doors. I could see how it would fit that car perfectly. Mojeans69 12-04-2004, 10:24 AM Mojeans69, do you have pictures of your car with the doors? RSX-S777 12-04-2004, 01:21 PM Lambo doors seem really played out. I feel like I'd get more laughs than looks of admiration. But I guess it's a matter of personal preference. friday86 12-06-2004, 11:15 AM Lambo doors seem really played out. I feel like I'd get more laughs than looks of admiration. IMO friday86 12-06-2004, 12:14 PM opps... i ment, Z3 fenders.. 5thGenAccord 12-07-2004, 11:37 PM about those who have ventured to do a four door lambo door conversion, it has been done before. a guy named BIG ROB the JEWELER has done it to his escalade. you can find pipctures of it on CarDomain i believe. YEs it did look really funky but did catch my eye. 5thGenAccord 12-07-2004, 11:39 PM oh yeah...last time i read he had converted the rear doors to suicide since he had problems with maintenance w/ them. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
