How can I get better traction on my OZsclendaniel 11-29-2004, 08:35 PM I live in anchorage alaska and I just got back from fairbanks AK on a nice little roadtrip over thanksgiving. It was nice I love my car, which is totally stock except for a thule bike rack, but I ran into a crazy snowstorm even though I was running winter tires I got a little sketched out in the snow... Was wishing I had gotten the EVO, just for the AWD.. But I noticed on my car that I only have one drive wheel. What is the deal with the lack of both wheels spinning, and how big of a deal would it be to get that changed to a posi-traction kind of setup with both front wheels spinnning.. it would surely increase performance... woudn't it?... okay well I would love an answer.. Scott C SloLearner 12-11-2004, 05:56 PM i've seen a ls advertised somewhere for oz, and ralliarts...but coming from a back ground of off road racing and rockcrawling....in stuff like snow..you want something selectable where as a ls isn't,however it would be a better choice over a full blown posi-unit. SloLearner 12-11-2004, 05:57 PM on dry ground however it would def increase performance... sclendaniel 12-17-2004, 05:07 PM Thanks... I looked into a lsd and I am considering it... I just don't got 800.00 plus labor money lying around... I may just keep it stock... I t does seem to spin both wheels just not that other one very much vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
