I would like to know what is available and affordable to change out the Duraspark 3 and problematic 7200 Variable Venturi closed loop carb system. The people at the local Ford dealership laughed at me when I asked how to hook-up to that odd diagnostic connector to look at codes. It seemed they wanted to bury the memory of this system having been produced. Edelbrock has a TBI, but $1600 seems way too highpriced. Is anything else out there? I'd even go to another carburated system if change-over is'nt too overwhelming. I'm not about to risk anymore damage to the fresh 351W I just stuffed under the hood. 2MPG dose'nt cut it. The only problem I have with wireharness change-overs is with my back. I'll be open to most any suggestions.
