Hi,
Power Windows all stopped working. Fuse appears to be good, anyone have any thoughts on this? The Power window lock/unlock switch seems to be fine. I removed the control panel from the Drivers side door, and noticed a red wire that did not seem to be have been skinned hanging loose. Seems odd that is normal, but can not see anywhere that looks like a wire had fallen off.

Anyone run into this?

There is a relay under the hood for the power windows. I would check the relays.

Hi Parkavenuechrome,

I shall have to recheck that, I read the labelsis it marked power windows, or something cryptic?

Thanks

After checking the relay, and that is fine, check the wire harness between the pillar and the door. the wires running through that rubber boot often break from flexing back and forth. You'll have to use a utility knife and slice it open to reveal the wire inside.

i'd go with the red wire, red usually means power, must connect somewhere, find the spot and the windows probably work again.
